CMA + AR Collaboration
For this project we worked with a real client, Columbia Museum of Arts to create a scavenger hunt experience inside the museum. We explored, researched, and created physical pathways for a virtual experience that allowed users to discover objects throughout the collection using augmented reality. This project was debuted at the CMA November 8th Arts + Draughts event.
Process
Although this was a collaborative project for the whole class as one group, we were spilt into subgroups, where each team was tasked to create 2 experiences per team. My team (Ava Baker, Kathy Do, and Me) did an experience in gallery 20 (made by Ava Baker) and I did the initial experience that gave out the first clue, and Kathy Do made the poster for initial experience that users scan using their phone. As a class, we decided on the user flow.
